Parents: Thomas & Sarah Dudman Birthplace: Devices, Wiltshire (baptised 20 Oct 1819). Died 11 Aug 1887 at Launceston Invalid Depot of "Phthisis" TOL 31 May 1852 Soldier - 4 years in the 24th Regiment Permission to marry 14 Nov 1852 & again 26 Jan 1853 - Mary Beaton (Aurora 1851). Married 17 Mar 1853 at Station Chapel, Saltwater River, by rites of the Church of England 10 Jan 1877 Campbell Town Police Court- was assaulted by a strike to the head with a stick
