James Dunne, for stealing 60 lb. wt. of bacon, the property of Mrs. Margaret Uniacke. It appeared that Mrs. Uniacke went to walk with her children, and locked her house door, which during her absence was broken open and the property taken ; the bacon was found in Dunne's garden, under some newly turned ground, where the prisoner was digging at the time.—To be transported for 7 years.
