Irish Convict Database, by Peter Mayberry. Mary Anne Dunne, alias Dunn, age on arrival, 23, per Andromeda II (3) 1834, Tried 1832, at Dublin City, Life for Stealing saddlery. Former conviction, 1 year. DOB, 1811, native place, Dublin. Single. Catholic, All work. THE COMMISSION Was opened on Saturday, … Bernard Doyle, Michael Murphy, and Mary Anne Dunne, were put upon their trial, charged with a burglary, and with having stolen forty whips, twelve bridle mountings, and some spurs, the property of Mr. Edward Rooney, on the 7th instant, when his shop was broke open. It was distinctly proved evidence that the prisoners were found on the premises, with the goods in their possession. The three prisoners were  found guilty, and sentenced to be transported for their lives. ... Dublin Evening Packet, 12 Feb 1833.
