While no marriage between James Mauldon & Eliza Dunne can be found - they had 8 children together. From 1861 Eliza indicated her birth was Elizabeth Crosswhite, with parents being Robert Crosswhite & Bridget Dunne. Her convict records give her parents as George & Bridget Dunne

Eliza Dunn was convicted at Kings County for stealing clothes. Previous offences. 7yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the 'Blackfriar' arriving 29/05/1851. Aged 18yrs; nurse girl; blue eyes; lt brown hair; fresh complexion; 4'9 1/2"; single; Protestant. Native Place: Kings County, Ireland. Assignments in Colony, including New Town, Launceston, Westbury, Antill Ponds, Ross & Campbell Town. Also Female Factory. 20/07/1852: delivered of a female child at the Female House of Correction. The child died 02/08/1852. 14/12/1854: application to marry Charles Coy (free). Approved. ? if it proceeded - not on BDM. 27/09/1855: application to marry James Maulden. 17/04/1855: Ticket of Leave 25/11/1856: Condtional Pardon
