Tried and convicted at Dublin City 01/01/1844 for stealing boots. 7yr sentence. Transported on 'Cadet' 1844. Gaol Report: well conducted Surgeon's Report: very good. Single; clothesman; hazel eyes; brown hair; ruddy complexion; labourer; Roman Catholic; can read & write; 5' 1 1/2"; age 25yrs. Station Gang: Buckland, VDL. Emerged from Gang 24/11/1845. Served time at Fingal; Antil Ponds; Oatlands; Lovely Banks; New Town farm. Ticket of Leave 30/03/1850. Free Certificate 25/02/1851. 03/01/1877: Vagrancy - 1mth hard labour.
