1838, 2 August: His sentence was extended by 12 months for absconding. 1841, 29 July: Granted a Ticket of Leave. 1844: Free by servitude. 1867, 18 September: William Durrant was convicted in the Hobart Supreme Court for embezzlement and sentenced to three years' jail (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON37-1-10$init=CON37-1-10p413).

1831, 18 October: Convicted for stealing wearing apparel. He had a previous conviction for a similar offence. He was single (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON31-1-10$init=CON31-1-10p89).
