Civil Registration, Tasmania. (Via Familysearch) Burial in the parish of Green Ponds, William Dutfield, age about 43, convict, Road station Green Ponds, buried 13 Jan 1838.

William Dutfield was convicted at Worcester 13 July 1829 for stealing wood. Previous conviction. 14yr sentence. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) on the ship 'David Lyon' 1830. Aged 29yrs; single; farm labourer. Native place: Worcestershire Assignments in Colony. Ticket of Leave granted. Died at Green Ponds Probation Station 1838.
