1831, 19 October: Convicted at Stafford for stealing 30lbs of rope and admitted to the prison hulk Justitia, at Woolwich, on 28 November. He was listed as Richard Eaton, 53, and was sent from the hulk for transportation on 11 February 1832 (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849).
