Francis Edeson was 20 years old when convicted of 'Highway Robbery' at the Old Bailey. Occupation was listed as a 'Mariner' although he worked as a carpenter after that. Father: at Somer Town, Chapel Street, a Cabinet maker - Single. 1830 Muster: Govt. House 4/11/1831: Married Elizabeth Morgan (Lady of the Lake 1829). They had at least 4 children. Worked as a carpenter in Argyle Street. 1832 Muster: Government House 1833 Muster: Ticket of Leave 1835 Muster: Ticket of Leave 12/6/1840: CP In 1842 he became the licensee of the King's Arms and in 1844 the Blue Bells of Scotland. 1845: Pardon extended to include all Australian colonies. The family moved to Victoria. 27/11/1850: The Melbourne Daily News: Francis was discharged from the employ of H. Lang - Builder. 1856: Francis died in the Loddon area (around Bendigo) of Victoria. Elizabeth died in 1872 and was buried at the Eaglehawk Cemetery, Victoria.
