Stealing a greatcoat, the property of William Jarvis of Kirton in Lindsey, servant Place of Crime: Kirton in Lindsey Court: Lindsey Quarter Sessions Trial Date: 15/04/1823 Sentence: 7 Years Sources Used: Trial documents Other Remarks: Had been committed for trial on 2 previous occasions. 11/5/1830: COF 1/5/1843: Married Eliza Stephenson/Stevenson (per Henry Wellesley 1837). They had 4 children: 1844-Stillborn, 1845-Thomas, 1847-William who died May 1903 at Nimmitabel, and 1853-Matilda. Thomas Snr., died at Braidwood.
