His real name was Charles EDMUNDS and he always signed as Chas EDMUNDS but his convict records spelled it EDMONDS, Tasmanian Convict Records, the Birth date is based on his age at various events, Convict Indent 13895. Death certificate 1023/1889 Marriage reg.889/1847 also his 1888 letter.
