The "Morley" was built on the Thames, England in 1811. Convicts were transported to New South Wales on the Morley in 1817, 1818, 1820, 1828 and 1829 and to Van Diemen's Land in 1820 and 1823. 1829 Voyage. 200 Male English Convicts. Commander; Harrison. Richard Lewis; Surgeon Superintendent arrived 2 Dec 1829. All convicts survived the voyage.

Convict Notes
Edward was born about 1717. He was a sawyer of Northampton when sentenced for 7years then sent to NSW on MORLEY in 1815. He was described as fair pale, hair brown, eyes blue 5'8.25". He was recorded at musters 1822, 1823, 1824, 1825. In 1822 he was at Newcastle and became a labourer Free by Servitude by 1823. By 1830 he was a sawyer at Newcastle.
