Tried at CM Cork Barracks, 17 May 1842, 14 years. 5 ft 10 ¾. Age 26, Catholic, cannot read nor write, Single. Offence, Desertion 5 months absent, once for similar offence, 56 days hard labor- twice for drunkenness, 3 mos & 6 weeks. Surgeon’s report, Good. Groom. Never was a shoemaker. Native place, Queens Co. Remarks: 1B, Jas, 84th Regt. 1S, Ann, at N.P.
