Richard Edwards was convicted at Lancaster 21 Oct 1822 for stealing fowls. Previous offences - 1818, imprisoned for 6mths; 1819, 6mths; 1821 imprisoned for 12mths. Hulk report - orderly. Single. Mother at Ledger St. Manchester - keeps a Chandley Shop. He lived with her. Transported to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania) per the 'Albion' 1823. Assignments in Colony. Several notes of misconduct. Ticket of Leave granted.
