William Edwards was born in Reigate/Ryegate, Surrey. He arrived in Sydney aged 28. On the 1st of April 1841 he married Margaret Edwards in Goulburn (Presbyterian Church of Scotland) William Edwards drowned and was buried in the Church of England section, Yass Cemetery.
