Ann married John Lock(e) 07/06/1836 St Peters Maitland Twelve children in all - born Maitland, Wollombi, Harpers Hill and then Warwick Queensland when final TOL let them move. She is listed as a nurse girl initially in England, then in Warwick as a mid-wife.

Old Bailey: ANN ELLIOTT was indicted for stealing, on the 22nd of April , 2 curtains, value 15s.; 1 bonnet, value 3s.; 2 pelisses, value 8s.; 1 gown, value 1s. 6d.; 1 shift, value 1s.; 2 handkerchiefs, value 1s., and 1 apron, value 6d. , the goods of Mary Brotherton . MARY BROTHERTON. I am a widow , and live at Hammersmitb . On the 22nd of April, about four o'clock in the afternoon, I heard somebody walking in the passage -I went up, and found the prisoner on the top of the stairs, with a bundle; I asked what she did there; she said she had come out of the way of the Policemen, who were after her - the bundle contained the articles stated, which are mine; they had been in the one pair front room - the prisoner was quite a stranger.(Property produced and sworn to.) GUILTY . Aged 17. Recommended to Mercy. - Transported for Seven Years . 17/2/1835: Servant from London. Admitted to Newcastle gaol from Maitland under sentence of 10 days in the cells and return to government service. Re-assigned to William Harper at Oswald 25 March 30/3/1835: Aged 18. Application to marry William Barton. Allowed 9/5/1835: Admitted to Newcastle gaol from Maitland Quarter Sessions. To complete sentence in the cells. Sent to service with Mr. Harper at Oswald 26 May 1837: Ticket of leave holder aged 20. Tried in London 1836: Married John Lock/e (Sesostris 1826) and they had 13 children. Around 1850 they moved to Warwick. Queensland. 21/11/1898: Ann died at Warwick, Queensland.

Married John Locke (also convict) in about 1840. Had daughter Louisa 1843 when living at Lochinvar . Moved to Warwick, Queensland. Louisa married Robert Stidolph about 1860.
