Native place: Louth. Edward Emperingham was 19 years old on arrival, he was 14 years old when tried at Spilsby on 7/7/1846. No crime listed. Edward was 5' 7 1/2" tall, sandy hair, hazel eyes, long face, fresh complexion, single, slight build. An axe, E.E.E. S.G.H.S., COD, and Mermaid right arm. On Arrival: TOL 11/3/1853 Perth Gazette: Edward Emperingham, t.l., out after hours ; dismissed. There is some suggestion that he returned to England. Nothing on the BDM.
