Caleb was 24 years old on arrival in VDL. Transported with his brother George, for the same crime. Caleb was 5'8 1/2" tall, could read and write was single, protestant, fresh complexion, brown hair, light hazel eyes. Has been a soldier, lightly freckled. 244/7/1849: TOL 11/1/1853: CP 18/6/1861: COF 9/7/1850: Married Eliza Thompson (Lord Auckland) who died at Franklin in 1898. 1902: Caleb died at the Hobart General Hospital.
