Application is making to save the life of- Evans, convicted of rape, in which, however Baron Pennefather refused to concur, but he has ruled the execution for a day sufficiently distant to allow ample time to memorial the executive for a commutation of the sentence. Leister Journal Aug 1827

Tried 10/8/1827. From Kilkenny Ireland. 5' 7 1/2" ruddy and freckled complexion, light brown to sandy hair and brown eyes. horizontal scar over left eye. Pardon dated 13/8/1846 no 45/475
