John Everett arrived on the same vessel as James Whalan (Free Settler) who married his wife's daughter, Ann Wildgrass on 27 July 1810.

In the colony, John married Judith Wildgrass (Convict, Indispensible, 1809). They married April 23rd 1810 at Sydney. Sainty & Johnson; 1828 Census of New South Wales: Page 140... [Ref E0566] John 'Evans' as aged 64, a labourer of Botany, religion Protestant, arrived on the ship 'Minorca' in 1796 (this is an error: The Minorca's maiden voyage to NSW was in 1801. John's trial was held in 1796). He was free by servitude. [Ref E0567] Judith 'Evans' was aged 66, a resident of Botany, of Protestant religion, having arrived aboard the ship 'Indispensible' in 1809.
