At the Chelmsford Assizes John Cornell, William Everitt, sen. William Everitt, jun., Henry Cornell,  William Cornell, and Christopher Cooper, were all found guilty of a burglary committed at the house of Samuel Barnard, of Thaxted, on the night of the 13th of January. Globe, 21 July 1837.
