31/3/1832 Yorkshire Gazette North Yorkshire, England: YORKSHIRE SPRING ASSIZES. CROWN COURT, Tuesday, March 27. WILLIAM WADE, and TITUS EVERS, pleaded Guilty of committing burglary in the house of Joseph Sanderson, of and stealing three pieces of cloth therefrom. Titus was 21 years old on arrival. He was the son of Robert Evers and Rachel Strother. 1840: TOL Bathurst. Wife Jane Johnson was born in the colony on 1/11/1834 and died 29/12/1909 aged 75. 9/5/1889: Titus died aged 78. 18/5/1889 Molong Express and Western District Advertiser: Death of Mr. T. Evers. — We regret to have to record the death of Mr. Titus Evers, which took place on the 9th instant,- at his residence, Reed's Creek, near Molong, at the ripe old ago of 76 years, he having been born in Yorkshire (England) in the year 1813. Mr. Evers came to the colony in the year 1833, when 20 years old, and after a few years spent in other places he settled in the Molong district, where he has been a resident for 45 years. The funeral took place on the llth instant, and was largely attended by the many friends of the deceased, and on the way to the cemetery a service was held in St.. John's Episcopalian Church, Molong. 25/5/1889 Australian Town and Country Journal, Sydney: DEATH OF AN OLD IDENTITY.-Mr. Titus Evers, who had resided in this district 45 years, died on the 9th instant. He had a large funeral, and was interred in the C. E. cemetery on the 11th.
