A woman called Janet Falconer (or Faulkener) married Andrew Wright in Newtown in Hobart on 8 September 1845. He was 53, a widower, and she was 28. Her birthdate was recorded as 1817. She gave birth to Andrew on 18 April 1850 and he was baptised in St Andrew's Presbyterian Church, Hobart on 19 May 1850, and died in 1888 in Kingston, Tas. There are three other children, Mary Ann b. 3 September 1843 in Hobart, Janet b.? m. Henry Pulsford 14 July 1863,and Eliza b.? m. J Morgan 14 July 1866, widowed, m. Henry William Firth of Kingston, Tasmania 2 July 1895. No birth records are available for the last two children. I found no evidence of the death of Andrew Wright's first wife in Hobart, so Janet could be the mother of all children.
