Hulk Reports at Portsmouth. HO-9-8-2 Received 10 (convicts) from Horsham Prison, 28 Mar 1803. John Cooke Fancutt, age 25, C.R., Tried at Horsham, 28 Mar 1803, Sentence: B.S.W. Life - Coromandel. --------------------------------------------------- Colonial Secretary Index. Petition of Thomas Kelly, aged 21 years. Respectfully sheweth That petitioner arrived free in the Colony with his mother in the Transport Ship Speke in the year 1809. That he still continues to reside with his mother who is married to John Fancourt, District Constable at the Ponds on the Hawkesbury Road. Petitioner having now attained the age of maturity, humbly solicits a Grant of Land which he will improve and cultivate. And petitioner will ever pray…. Thomas Kelly. We certify to his Excellency the Governor that we consider the meaning of the General Order of the 20th May 18?? so we recommend him accordingly. Signed, ?? and John Cross, Chaplain.
