George Fancy for stealing a pair of cloth trousers at Wimborne Minster, the property of George Garratt; also for stealing a piece of beech timber at Canford. George Fancy was 27 years old when convicted, he had previous conviction for stealing 3 barton fowls in March of the same year, 1 month - and for passing a bad shilling, 9 months. George was listed as being 29 on arrival, 5'10" tall, can read, ruddy complexion, black hair and whiskers, brown eyes. Native Place: Litchard, Dorset. Occupations: Brickmaker/Burner perfect. Wife Mary, at Poole - 3 children.
