George arrived in van Diemen's Land 1 Jan 1825 on the 'Berwick'. He had arrived as an immigrant from Scotland.21 June 1823. He was convicted of sheep stealing, to a considerable extent, at Jericho, van Diemen's Land. He acknowledged there had been other offences.Convict no. 22619. He was married, with 2 young children and lived somewhere near Jericho. He had a very respectable father in Scotland, a Minister in the Church of Scotland. George was executed in Hobart May 1825.
