Sent to Van Diemen's Land (Tasmania), Australia per the ship 'Neptune' arriving there 19 Jan 1838. VDL: Assigned to work services. A couple of reports of misconduct. 1838-1842: at Swan Port 1844: at Swansea (east coast of Tasmania) 4 April 1844: Ticket of Leave granted. 31 Oct 1846: Conditional Pardon approved.
