One woman and 7 children died on the voyage. At least 2 children were born during the voyage. The Surgeon Superintendent was Dr Wylie, R.N. and the Matron, Mrs Evans. The Arabian arrived at Hobart Town, February 25 1847.

In the goods of William Scarff, late of Hobart Town, Carpenter and of Joseph B. Fish late of the whaling vessel Victoria, Mariner both deceased intestate. ALL PERSONS having claims against A the estates of either of the above named deceased persons are required to prove their respective debts before me at my office, Hobart Town on or before the 22nd day of November next or in default thereof they will be peremptorily excluded from all benefit accruing from the said estates. William signed his name, Catherine her mark, X. Witnesses were Catherine MacIntosh and George Walton.

There were two women named Catherine Farrell on the Arabian. This one was given the identifier (2) in Tasmanian Records. Conduct Record: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON41-1-12$init=CON41-1-12P56 558. Catherine Farrell (2) aged 30, Tried Westmeath 17 June 1846. Plain Laundress. Transported for stealing clothes. (Crossed out entry, referring to death in Hobart Hospital – re Catherine Farrell (1), Entered in error.) Cert Free. 22 June 1853.
