Peter Farroll is acturally Peter Farrell, all of his records (marriage and death etc.,) are under "Farrell". Peter's native place was Dublin and his occupation was a "Cutter's Boy" and he was 19 years old. 29/8/1855: Was a resident of White Hills, near Bendigo and was a builder. 1/3/1860: Declared Insolvent - Living at Golden Square, Sandhurst, and was a miner. 26/7/1860: Municipal Police Court - A TRIVIAL CHARGE-Peter Farrell and Rossanna Farrell, his wife, were charged, on the information of Peter Finn, with stealing a shawl and hat, the property of his wife. From the evidence adduced by the prosecutor and his wife, it clearly appeared that the defendant Farrell (who found the property) had no felonious intention in detaining them. The defendant Farrell informed the Bench that he had found the property in Barkly Place one morning when going to his work, and, that he had hung the shawl and hat over the fly of their claim all the day, for the purpose of enabling anyone to come and own them. The Bench dismissed the case, remarking there was not the least scintilla of any criminal intention on the part of either of the defendants. The Police Magistrate remarked that he had known Farrell for some time as a respectable man. 15/2/1872: From the Waranga Shire Council, requesting the admission to the Bendigo Hospital of a man named Peter Farrell, received.

Peter Farroll was transported for stealing cheeses and a shawl. He was Catholic, single. 25/9/1838: COF There may be some confusion between Peter Farrell and Peter Farroll. I think they may be the same convict transported on the Clyde.
