POLICE OFFICE, NOTTINGHAM. On the 12th inst. (before the Mayor), Henry Ferguson was committed to the Gaol, for trial at the Sessions, for stealing from the person of William Robshaw, a purse, and 14s.6d. Henry Ferguson was listed as being 17 years old on arrival. His native place was Sneddon, Wiltshire. Goal Report: Character bad in prison 3 times before once convicted of Felony. Henry was 5'4ΒΌ" tall, brown hair, light brown eyes, single. 1830-33 Musters: Assigned to Mr. W. Able. Oct 1834: TOL 28/1/1834 Launceston Advertiser: Henry Ferguson, David Lyon, for assisting Samuel Exoll, a convict, to remain illegally at large has been deprived of his TOL. 4/8/1835 Colonial Times, Hobart: Henry Ferguson was charged on his own confession, with absconding. His original sentence extended two years. 12/4/1838: Henry Ferguson died at the Launceston Hospital, listed as aged 28.
