MARRIAGE: 1845, 23 June: Frederick and Mary Ann Harrison per Rajah (1841) were granted permission to marry (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON52-1-2p034). 1845, 21 July: Frederick Fervester [sic], 25 a tailor, and Mary Ann Harrison, 34, were married in the Penitentiary Church, Hobart Town (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/RGD37-1-4p375j2k). Note: His age does not tally with court or hulk records. Mary Ann had been transported for 10 years for stealing from the person (pickpocketing). She was a widow with one child. 1850, 6 August: Mary Ann Harrison Fewster/Fervester died in Hobart Hospital (see http://search.archives.tas.gov.au/ImageViewer/image_viewer.htm?CON40-1-6,258). 1851, 18 January: Frederick Fewster, per KS Forbes, free by servitude and a widower, sailed on the steamship Shamrock from Launceston bound for Melbourne (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/POL220-1-1).


1832: On arrival in VDL, he was 18, a tailor and single. 1844, 14 June: Granted a Ticket of Leave. 1848, 17 September: Certificate of Pardon approved (see https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON34-1-3$init=CON34-1-3P453).


1831, 8 September: Frederick Fewster was convicted at the Old Bailey for stealing a handkerchief, and sentenced to 14 years. He was 17. 1831, 5 October: Admitted to the Cumberland prison hulk at Chatham, and sent from there on 14 February 1832 for transportation (see UK, Prison Hulk Registers and Letter Books, 1802-1849).
