Family connections for Thomas (Field) are: Replacing my contribution of 2023. FARR/FIELD Thomas (Farr) alias Thomas (Field) was tried at York Assizes, sentenced to Life & arrived in NSW as a convict on 9 7/28 8 1791 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship WILLIAM AND ANN. He had a first relationship with Catherine (Keenan her first relationship). He was moved to Norfolk Island arriving on 21 5 1796.>>> [Some details are taken from this Website] Catherine (Keenan) was born about 1775 in Cork co. Ireland & became employed in country work. She was tried for stealing at Dublin city, sentenced to 7years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 17 9 1793 after a voyage of 5/17months on SUGAR CANE. She was Free by Servitude by 1809. She had a second relationship with Charles (Hadley his first relationship) & produced another child. She died on 18 4 1809 age44 mother of 2children & was buried at Old Sydney burial ground (St Phillips CofE?). [Some details taken from this Website] Thomas (Farr) & Catherine (Keenan/Keanan) produced 1child: 1.John (Farr) was born on 5 11 1796 & baptised on 16 4 1797 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. .. >>>Thomas (Farr) alias Thomas (Field) had a second relationship with Elizabeth (Crook/Clarke her first relationship). He enlisted in NSW Corps as Thomas (Farr) in Sydney on 24 7 1798 as a private, but was discharged on 31 7 1798. He produced 2known children in his lifetime. Elizabeth/Betty (Crooke/s) was born sometime between 1753-63. She was tried with her brother John (no record of him), a labourer, for stealing flour etc of John (Wormald) of Kelbrook in April 1795 & again for receiving flour at York Assizes in August 1795, sentenced to 14years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 30 4 1796 after a journey of 6months on INDISPENSABLE. An Elizabeth (Clark-she changed her name?) is recorded on Norfolk Island as off stores in February 1805. She married secondly Isaac (Tar/r his second marriage) on 10 4 1797 at St Johns CofE Parramatta & produced another child. In 1822 she petitioned the Governor for food assistance for her quadriplegic husband. In 1828 she is recorded as Free by Servitude & living with daughter Elizabeth (Monks)s family. She died on 23 2 1829 age76? (therefore born about 1762) at Parramatta mother of perhaps 2children & was buried, as (Betty (Torr), at St Johns CofE Parramatta. It may be she who is recorded as Elizabeth (Clark) off stores in February 1805.
