Conduct Record: https://stors.tas.gov.au/CON33-1-7$init=CON33-1-7p78 1595. James Finnigan, age 22, Tried Limerick 22 Oct 1840, 7 years, for Larceny. Stated this offence: Cutting and stealing an ash tree. Patk Connor. I was transported as in the Police. I’d not have been transported had I not held that situation. Single. Surgeon’s Report: Careless and negligent at first, improved lately. Good tempered. Native place, Armagh. Trade, Harness maker, saddler. Remarks: Has been a soldier. 4 mos in Artillery. 14/12/43. - Constable. Free by Servitude, 22 Oct 1847.
