James Fitzpatrick, against whom there were four indictments, was tried and convicted of stealing a cloak, the property of Honora Smith, of Bruff, she having identified the article, which Head Constable Thompson found in the prisoner's possession, while in the act of pawning it. To be transported for 7 years. Limerick Chronicle, 22 April 1840.
