1829 - Waterloo's first voyage arrived at Sydney Cove 9 July 1829. 180 Male Convicts. 2 Died on voyage. 7 sent to the hospital on landing. Total mustered; 171. Stephen Addison - Commander Michael Goodsire - Surgeon Superintendent [His wife was a passenger] 1842 - The Waterloo voyage of 1842 was wrecked on 28/8/1842. 189 people drowned, these being 143 convicts, 15 men of the 99th Regiment, together with 17 wives and children, the boatswain Mr. Chiverton, the sailmaker, the carpenter and 11 of the crew. Convicts were then received in Cape Town Prison from the wreck of the Waterloo, 2nd September 1842. They then completed their voyage to VDL per “Cape Packet” which arrived on 23/11/1842.

Groom, servant and soldier aged 28 from Queens Co., 5'7"; ruddy complexion, dark brown hair, grey eyes, tattoos. scar over inner part of left eye. Absconded from J.T. Clarke 10th December. 3rd time of absconding. 175521 Fitzpatrick William - Waterloo 1831. 27 December 1836 Newcastle Gaol Entrance Book. State Archives NSW; Roll: 136. Groom from Queens County. Admitted to Newcastle gaol from Sydney. To be dealt with by the Bench at Maitland for absconding. Forwarded to Maitland on 29th December 1836.
