James Ward, Anne Kelly, John Farrel, Philip Fitzsimmons and Anne Connor, for picking the pocket of John M‘Court of two bank notes, 1£, each, at Roslea, on the 8th of March inst. John M‘Court examined—I was at the fair ot Roslea on the 8th instant—I lost 2£ of Belfast bank notes from my breeches pocket—the prisoners Ward and Anne Kelly attacked me in the door of a public house, as I was going out to have my notes examined —they were on each side of me, and had a hand in each pocket of my breeches; Ward gave me a blow in the face which I was cut; they both squeezed me up in the crowd as rushed out; Fitzsimmons and Farrel held me; Anne Connor was in company with the rest; They scattered and fled; prosecutor pursued and took them with the aid of Mr. Jackson. Guilty, all but Anne Connor. Sentence: Seven years transportation. Enniskillen Chronicle, 16 March 1826
