City Assizes.  At half-past one o’clock yesterday, Mr. Baron Pennefather, accompanied by his Worship, the Mayor, and the Sheriffs, entered the City Court, and, the Commission having been opened, proceeded … Bartholomew Flanagan and Pat Mullins, were given in charge for having, so recently as yesterday, at eleven o’clock, broken a pane of glass in the shop window of Mr. Hawkesworth, of the Parade and stealing a watch thereout—Guilty. Court shall direct both boys to be transported for life. Flanagan—That  was our object my Lord ! Southern Reporter and Cork Commercial Courier, 16 March 1833.
