County Court. William Flynn, for stealing a pig, the property of John Morrissy. John Morrissy, sworn—Saw the pig about three hours after he missed it, with the prisoner; asked him where he got it, prisoner said he bought it for 7d ; equivocated ; said one time he bought it from one, and another time from another; D, Hayes, constable, sworn—Took prisoner the 28th of ? at the pike of Dungarvan; said bought the pig : attempted escaping. Being asked Counsellor Dassard, whether he believed tbe prisoner to be drunk! he said not, for that he ran. W. Power, Esq. sworn —Gave the prisoner good character to the present transaction. The jury notwithstanding found him Guilty. Transportation for 7 years, Waterford Mail, 8 Aug 1827.
