John Floody was 36 years old on arrival and was transported for 'Robbery of arms'. 16/9/1819: Transferred to VDL per 'Admiral Cockburn' John was 5'5" tall, brown hair, hazel eyes, occupation in the colony was a 'Farmers Labourer", IHS J{T:a symbol like a bold U or inverted horseshoe}F right arm left leg crippled. 1825: COF 4/10/1832 Launceston Advertiser: SATURDAY, SEPT. 29. John Murphy, John Flood, John McLaughlin, and Michael Cairns, stood charged with stealing a pig, the property of Joseph Mills. Verdict.- Guilty.7 years. 1832-33 Muster: Public Works 14/3/1834: John died at HM Colonial Hospital
