On Thursday arrived from Calcutta, via Derwent, the ship Mary, Captain Ormon, with a various cargo. -Passengers from Calcutta, Captain Faithfull and Lieutenant Hamilton:-The Mary sailed from Calcutta the 23d of February, and left the Pilot the 1st of March. 1825: Peter FLINN (FLYN) – free by servitude – Mary 1819, 7 years; plasterer, Sydney (see NSW and Tasmania, Australia Convict Musters, 1806-1849, New South Wales General muster A-L 1825). 1825, 2 June: Peter FLYNN (FLYN), per Mary 1819, Certificate of Freedom 7/3850; plasterer, 28 [i.e. born 1797]; 5’4¼”, ruddy pockmarked complexion, dark brown hair, dark hazel eyes. “ToL 659/819 now delivered up and cancelled.” (see NSW, Australia, Certificates of Freedom, 1810-1814, 1827-1867; Registers of Certificates of Freedom)
