Place of origin: Hackney, Middlesex Status; Married - 2 children Wife; Ann Cranston/Follon transported in the Ship; Tasmania 1844 with 1 child on board THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE OLD BAILEY 1493. FRANCES CRANSTON was indicted for stealing 1 frock, value 1s.; and 1 skirt, 6d.; the goods of Edward Robertson, from the person of Mary Ann Robertson: and ANN CRANSTON and GEORGE FOLLON , for feloniously receiving the same, well knowing them to have been stolen; against the Statute, &c.; to which FRANCES CRANSTON pleaded GUILTY . Aged 9.— Judgment Respited. ANN CRANSTON— GUILTY . Aged 32. FOLLON— NOT GUILTY . & 1494. ANN CRANSTON and GEORGE FOLLON were again indicted for feloniously receiving 1 frock, value 1s.; 1 pair of socks, 3d.; and 1 pair of boots, 1s.; the goods of George Henry Dosson, knowing them to have been stolen. ANN CRANSTON— GUILTY . Aged 32. FOLLON— GUILTY . Aged 30. Transported for Seven Years. *** (There were nine other indictments against the prisoners.)
