Family connections for William Philip (Forber) are: FORBER William Phillip (Forber/Furber) was born about 1767. He was tried for theft of brown horse of William (Mower) of Berkley at Gloucester Assizes, sentenced to be hung commuted to 14years & arrived in NSW as a convict on 26 6 1790 after a voyage of 6months on Fleet ship NEPTUNE. In 1795 he was farming at Kissing Point. He married firstly Margaret (McArthur/McArby/McCarthy) on 28 2 1797 at St Johns CofE Parramatta.>>> [Some details taken from this Website] Margaret (Macarthy) was born about 1771. He was Free by Servitude by 1810 & sold the farm about 1811. He died on 23 7 1811 age43/5 father of 1known child & was buried at St Johns CofE Parramatta. Mary (Brian) was born on 7/17 4 1792 at Sydney Cove & baptised on 15 7 1792 at St Phillips CofE Sydney. When her mother left in about 1799 she remained with her father & is recorded with him in 1800 & perhaps 1802. She married secondly John (Smith) in 1814 at St Johns CofE Parramatta. William Philip Forber was transported for stealing a brown horse from William Mower at Berkeley - sentenced to be hung. William was 22 years old on arrival and about 1795, whilst still a convict, started farming around the Kissing Point area. He grew fruit and maize and had farm animals etc. 1797: Married Margaret McArthur/McArby (Indispensible) 1/1/1808: married Mary Brian age 16 at St. John's Parramatta. William continued farming until about March 1811, he then advertised his farm for sale. 23/7/1811: Burial date of William who died aged about 45. In 1814 Mary married convict John Smith.
