William Forde was indicted for stealing Cloak and other articles, the property of James Marshall and Simon Buckley. The articles, which had been stolen from Marshall’s dwelling, were found in the possession of the prisoner by Mr. J. P. Mathis— Guilty. An old offender, to transported tor 7 years. being sentenced he exclaimed. “Bad luck to you, you long nosed ruffian.” Southern Reporter, 23 Aug 1827.
