Aleves, Address: [St Nicholas Street, Aberdeen] Catherine Alves, wife of James Alves, Vennel, Aberdeen, m.s. Shepherd, Address: [Aberdeen] William Paterson, labourer, Address: Hardgate, Old Machar, Aberdeenshire James Aleves, labourer, Address: Vennel, Aberdeen. 3/5/1827: COF After being tried at Campbelltown John Fordyce was sent to Moreton Bay. Listed as 38 years old, 5'2½" tall, ruddy complexion, brown hair, hazel eyes. 7/11/1835: Returned to Sydney. Son Alexander Fordyce (1829-1899) became a bushranger in NSW.
