The Grand Jury then withdrew. When the Court adjourned last night, the following cases had been decided : Enoch Foster (aged 18) for house-breaking at Darlaston, and George Till, for stealing malt, were capitally convicted, but not sentenced.—No bill against John Till. ... Staffordshire Advertiser, 22 July 1820. -------------------------------------------------- Stafford Assizes. At Stafford Assizes the following prisoners received sentence death, viz.: Enoch Foster, George Till, Wm. Lloyd, Francis Adams, for burglary; ... —The whole of these criminals, with the exception of Hill, were reprieved. Worcester Journal, 3 Aug 1820. The following fifteen convicts under sentence of transportation, have been removed from our county gaol, for the Hulks, at Woolwich, viz.—Enoch Foster, Joseph Waldron, John Faircloth, Samuel Harrison, William Nicholls, George Rogers, Francis Adams, Wm.
