RETURN OF ALL CONVICTS ASSIGNED AND TRANSFERRED BETWEEN THE 1st AND 31st DAYS OF MAY, 1832, INCLUSIVELY 1148. Fox Christopher, Mangles, house servant, to Joseph Aarons, Sydney. NSW Govt. Gazette, 22 Aug 1832. THE undermentioned Persons have obtained CERTIFICATES OF FREEDOM during the last week, viz. :- Mangles (4), Christopher Fox. NSW Govt Gazette, 7 Nov 1832. SYDNEY General Quarter, Sessions. Monday, July 4. Christopher Fox stood indicted for stealing six silver spoons and sundry knives and forks, the property of Solomon Levien of the Pulteney Hotel. Guilty; sentenced to be transported to a penal settlement for three years. The Australian, 12 July 1836.

The Recorder's Court sat on Saturday last: Aldermen Montgomery, C.P. Archer, and Sir T. Whelan, on the Bench. Christopher Fox stood indicted for stealing a gold seal, the property of James Connolly, Esq. Mr. William Connolly examined by Mr. Bethel - Proved the identity of the seal, and that the prisoner lived with him at his house in Stephen's green in the capacity of a groom, for the space of four months, during which time he missed several articles of place, and other articles, his property. The Jury, under the direction of the Learned Recorder, found the prisoner guilty, and he was sentenced to 7 years transportation. - Freeman's Journal 12 July 1825
