Colonial Secretary Index. 2 Feb 1824. On lists of prisoners transported to Port Macquarie per "Lady Nelson" Francis Murphy, Tried by Bench at Sydney, 27 Jan 1824, sentence, remainder of sentence. Labourer, per Prince Regent 2. Original conviction: Tried at Armagh, Summer 1819, Seven years.
Norfolk Island Commandant's orders for 31 March 1835 state that the colonial sentence for a Francis Murphy per Prince Regent had expired, and that he was to leave Norfolk Island on the next sailing of the Isabella. This was probably on 29 April 1835. There is not sufficient information to determine whether this data applies to this Francis Murphy per Prince Regent, or the other one.
