At Gloucester Assizes, which were opened on Wednesday se'nnight, thirteen prisoners were tried; of whom, James Francis, found guilty on two indictments for stealing oxen and heifers, the property of Mr. Sergeant and Mr. Fisher, of Almondsbury; and ... were found guilty and received sentence of death; Commercial Chronicle, 31 July 1804. -------------------------------------------------- NSW Convict Index.
