The following persons .. stand trial at the ensuing Circuit Court of Justiciary to be held at Perth on the 26th: … James Fraser, and Duncan, house-breaking. ... Caledonian Mercury, 17 April 1819. Yesterday James Fraser, whose sentence was commuted to perpetual banishment, and Alexander Buchan, sentenced 7 transportation at last circuit, were sent from the jail of this city for the hulks, previous to being sent to Botany Bay. Perthshire Courier, 24 June 1819.
