Benjamin Frost and Charles Miles, two decently-dressed labourers were indicted for stealing two horses, valued at 30/. 1833: The National Archives - Home Office: Prisoner name: Benjamin Frost. Prisoner age: 50 years [40 on docket]. Prisoner name: Benjamin Frost. Prisoner age: 50 years [40 on docket]. Court and date of trial: Essex Winter Assizes December 1832. Crime: Horse stealing. Initial sentence: Transport for life. Can find no mention of him in Australia - found no mention of him in the Sick Journal of the Captain Cook.
